Me, mum and heroin

im still watching and writing between adverts.

this girl has made me cry. Her adiction has involved me. i hate drugs, always have and this proves why. this girl is so selfish, i cant believe.

im just trying to dump my thoughts now cos i dont fully understand what im going through. She has a mum who loves her so much, unconditionally yet its abused and thrown back. Poor mum, shes had a breakdown over this and lost her hubby who walked away cos he cant handle it.

this girl has a mum whos doing all she can to help love and support the undeserving daughter who continues to hurt. mum is so stoical through it all.

this is so fucking sad.

I can't watch the program..but im sure the daughter does love people around her, but addiction is a terrible thing. Unfortunately those closest to those afflicted arent often the best people to help. It does no good to look down our noses at people for something that is an addiction.

You oughtn't sit in judgement, imagine how it must feel to be that girl. Can you imagine how bad life must be, for that to be better?

Ive just watched and shed tears. That mother loved her daughter so much. She supported her daughter through rehab, she tried to give her a lovely 21st birthday and refused to give up on her when most mothers would have completely disowned their child under such circumstances. She said that their lives would remain this way for many years and yes still she refused to break the mother/daughter bond that remains so strong. I wanted to give that woman a hug, she didnt accept, she just knew that she loved her daughter and refused to give up on her.

UK(B), 6 mths My sentiments entirely. I feel for the mum. Im cross with the daughter sure, but im not judging cos i know drugs are so powerful but i just feel so much for the mum thats all. i never had kids and watching this makes me wonder what if. i dont know how i would handle it. Im ful of respect for the mum.
