I am sure that Informed Consent has a policy on not permitting its members to post links to any site promoting the illegal copying and distribution of copyrighted films etc. In light of some recent posts asking for links to BDSM torrent sites I hope IC's owners will make sure this is enforced.
I do hope that no member would so selfish as to jeopardise not only their own membership of this site but also very the existence of IC by using it for such illegal activities.
The owners of Informed Consent could be made liable as an accessory to any legal action brought against the copyright thief if they permitted IC to be used for such actions and did not take immediate action against the perpetrator.
The sharing of movies, BDSM related or otherwise, is quite rightly classed as theft under UK law and many producers in these impoverished times are seriously considering bringing actions against any site which permits the promoting of links to illegal copies of their works.
So IC members, if you treasure this resource please don't condone or permit copyright theft on IC, or you may find one day that it will be gone.
