.
Spent an enjoyable few hours yesterday (together with sub & mini-sub) walking with stories of Daleks, Cybermen, Slithbeen, Orgons, Autons and the Giant Rat with Ishmael as our tour guide.
A thoroughly unique experience with the inimitable Ish leading the way, umbrella pointing forward (when mini-sub hadn't purloined it) scarf wrapped round his neck and Dr Who badge on his chest (slowed down sometimes by mini-sub who had taken a liking to his trailing coat belt and its taste)
Starting at St Paul's station we circled St Paul's then down to the Embankment , hearing stories of past Dr Who filming thereabouts (including how views up the steps of St Paul's had been faked in one episode.
Under and then over the Millennium Bridge (a first for me) towards Tate Modern, then along the riverside in Southwark, past such sites as The Globe Theatre, The Clink, Southwark Cathedral (silent hiss from me at The Dean), passed (though not commented on) the late Club Wicked, HMS Belfast. The Wharves now shops, restaurants, homes. Watched Tower Bridge opening to let a ship through.
All the time at each stop being supplied with Dr Who facts and anecdotes in Ish's unique Stentorian tones then umbrella pointed (when mini-sub released it) onwards.
Tour finished up with refreshments in a pub - then I, sub and mini-sub went to have a meal after which I, sub and a very weary mini-sub wended our respective way home .
As I said an enjoyable walk and thoroughly recommended if Ish runs it, or similar again (and the end of a fantastic few days with "sub" xx )

And the icing on the cake was Tower Bridge opening. Glad you enjoyed it! She's NOT a domme; she's a very naughty switch!
