There is only a handful of people that have signed for secret santa this year so am not sure it's worth running it unless more people want to get involved.

i think the problem is that in previous years people have given but not recieved, despite promises to the contrary.

Once bitten twice shy kinda thing, certainly in my case anyway.

Thank you..

This is Secret Santa's 4th year and hopefully it will be a success to all who participate. The first year I did it myself with the help of another lady from IC. The year after that I had to pass over the SS to someone else as my daughter was still very young and I was having some personal problems that prevented me from doing all the organising. It didn't work that year and that is where people became disenheartened by it.

I took it back over again last year and as far as I'm aware everyone received who sent. No one has said otherwise so I can only assume last year was a complete success.

This year I have had to again give up the SS due to my health etc but it is being organised this year by someone who participated in all the past years and they have been made aware beforehand how much actual organising is involved in doing so and she is prepared for it.

I hope others do participate as it's nice at this time of year to get a little something that you know will be a surprise. I know that a couple of years ago it was a disaster and I apologise for that. If I had been able to undertake it I would have done, unfortunately I wasn't able to do this.

Thanks to everyone who has ever taken part and succeeded in helping it to make it what it is.

I hadn't seen it mentioned until now.

I'm constantly striving to overcome my agoraphobic hermits syndrome. I'm slowly having success.
