To a lucky bugger who has never had the misfortune of feeling as if their head is about to split into two pieces!

I looked for pictures to give an idea of just how it feels. No it's more than just a headache, a bad headache, it is something well...

I thought these images might give an idea of what it's like having one...

OUCH!

Ouch again!

And worst of all!

The phonecall I got after sending them was 'Oh fuck! I am so lucky I 'aint never had one of those!'

Yup! Lucky indeed!

So you have felt as if your skull could split at the slightest sound!?

Can't wait to get out of the rat race and embrace our new life!Peace, calm and tranquility.

So damn near...

<Sighs and stares out of the Patio doors longingly!

If you are willing to look at another person's behaviour towards you as a reflection of the state of their relationship with themselves rather than as a statement about your value as a person, then you will, over a period of time, cease to react to them

Thank the heavens for Co-codamol!

Having suffered from these for 25 years, I certainly relate to those pics! And it is certainly something incredibly hard to describe how bad it is to someone who has never had one!

The last pic made me chuckle lol

Ouch! 25 years inflicted by such torments. I take my hat off to you!

Yes, well with the last picture choice, I imagine how unbearable and excruciatingly painful it would be to hear her voice screeching away in your ear.

Makes me shudder!

;)

What I can take is limited, they don't always work. I am greatful when the edge of the pain is eased a little.

It's that awful build up of pressure that makes me feel particularily Blurghhh!

Oh wow, yeah, migraines. This isn't technically Migraine picture, but is a good one.

I used to get migraines a lot, and still do on occasion. Had daily cronic headaches for 7 months last year - and I do mean DAILY. And on top of that had migraines, cluster headaches, and ice pick headaches. Got to the point where pain killers made it worse, and I'd tried EVERY pill the doctors could prescribe. Some helped a little, most did nothing or made it worse.

So, my heart goes out to ya.
