spending money. And it's probably more than just this week that's been as I started spending a week ago on Saturday.
I went out for one of those, I've been paid and there are lots of little bits to get type shopping trips where you go out with £100 in notes and come back without any notes which seems quite depressing until you realise you have about £30 to £40 in change in yer pocket, which explains why you walked home at an angle.
However I didn't actually end up with that much change. I did spend quite a bit and there was a visit to Thorntons, which resulted in a couple of bday pressies for friends and a packet of them chocolate coated fudge things which last about 10 minutes after opening. They should charge a price based upon how long they last not how many there are. Those Dark Magic Truffles (without the bloody nuts) that Tescos were exclusively selling last xmas or the one before were worth about £5 as they would last several days. But a £2.50 pack of chocolates that last 10 minutes should be about 50p. Still they are tasty.
And I finally got myself a new watch. It's got hands and digital so I can try and get into the habit of reading time by hands. I can read time that way but after spending the past about 25 years using digital watches I need to get to the point where I can just look at a handy clock and know the time without having to think about it. However I'm still looking at the digital part of the watch rather than hands, but it will take a bit of time to adjust. It does have the handy feature of a dark digital display so you can only see it in the light or if you use the button that makes it glow. Have to say the watch isn't that stylish, but it's not actually too bad considering how dodgy some of the other hand and digi watches look.
And then after the watch and choccies, I stopped off at a toyshop on the way home who were having a sale to get rid of their Games Workshop stuff and so were selling all the box sets at £5 which isn't bad as seen as some of the stuff is sold at £35. So I bought a few things I new a friend would like and then some tasty stuff that might fetch a pretty penny on Ebay. This way my friend gets some stuff he needs, I get him to Ebay it for me and we split the money which should work out as it paying for the stuff he got and I should break about even. So no great gain for me, but I helped a friend out, which was the idea anyway.
I then ventured out again this past Saturday and the Wednesday before it. Did a lot of shopping, house stuff and more bday pressies. Now each year I tend not to have too much money in order to buy my godsons those big lavish gifts the better of members of their family and friends get them. I don't mind really as I tend to go for quality over quantity. So I'll buy them a computer game they will go mad over, ok it will cause fights amongst them as they all want to play it at the same time but beyond that they enjoy it. On the whole though I tend to buy them books or at least something with educational value, but something they will enjoy. So a joint pressie and a few books is the usual with maybe the odd something here and there like some choccies.
However this year I went big. I already had one pressie in mind for one of them, so it was a case of finding something for the other 2. So Thursday after work saw me at ToysRUs in the Starwars section. However I had no idea what they already had so ended up calling their dad for ideas. So now I have a huge Rancor beastie and a fair sized B-wing for them. I also bought a little Starwars pressie for the other one who's main present isn't starwars based but I didn't want him to miss out. Besides, it's got Ponda Baba in it and I can just look at their dad and say "Graphic Designer". But the reason I've kind of spent big is that while I'm not that bothered about being able to buy them some big pressies, I just want to do it the once, especially when it comes to something like starwars stuff that is something from my childhood as well. I never got loads of stuff but my parents didn't do too badly, they got me the huge Millennium Falcon which was well cool. However I wasn't prepared to splash out £150 doing the same for my godsons. £150 for the Millennium Falcon, for that price I'd expect it to do the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, and considering Kessel is in a galaxy far far away, it's going to be hard to do it in less than 12 parsecs.
So I'm kinda spent up at the moment, although I'm not. I've been a bit more relaxed about money as my remortgage came through and so I have some spare pennies from that, but it's also that time of year when I don't have any big bills on their way other than the standard gas and electric and so it's a financially less stressful time. I still need to find the new car of my dreams. I've seen a Ford Focus 1.8 TDI Sport that if the description is right, it's got ESP, a DVD (not sure in what form) and there are MP3 capabilities with the stereo. And according to the stats it seems to have damn good MPG, which seems odd with it being a sports version. The mileage is acceptable although would be nice if it was bit lower. So I might be going to have a nosey at it at some point, or I might just wait a while and see what crops up next year as I'm in no great hurry, although the improved MPG would be good, especially with fuel prices coming down (103p for unleaded at Tescos today).
Over the weekend I've been contemplating possibly going for a male sub/play toy. The thought of locking them up in chastity and doing CBT on them and all kinds of other fun things. And who knows, maybe I could find one who is daft enough to do me gardening. However I've decided against it as there are two main problems. The first is that I'd be getting really annoyed as I'd be doing things to them that I actually want doing to me and I'd get jealous of them and would then have to torment them harder and then I'd get more jealous and then I'd have to find another male sub to do the gardening and bury the body. And the other problem which is kind of a big one, is that I really don't fancy men. Ok Colin Farrell has nice eyes, but I just couldn't see maybe taking his naked body over me lap for a good spanking, although maybe that's cos I'd see him more as dominant anyway, curse those eyes of his. But it just wouldn't work. Looks are kinda important to me and men just don't look right for that kind of thing. Maybe it's something that I'd get over or I just need the right man, but I don't think it's going to happen.
Anyway, on to dreams. I had a nice one involving two young ladies, a chastity belt, a competition between them to see who would wear it and then the wearer having to give the non-wearer and myself oral on demand for a month, but also giving the non-wearer oral when I demanded like the entire time on a journey to and from the BBB.
And the other far more interesting dream came about due to me watching a lot of CSI last night. I woke up this morning after the bad guy got away, but I remembered the rest of the dream. I was investigating something at a bank with Grissom and we found out that money was being embezzled. The bank manager was played by James Woods or someone like him and he played a character a bit like that Paul Melander from the earlier series. He had his escape route planned and we had to figure it out and stop him before he got away. But he was going to be cheeky and rob the bank a final time right under our noses. And so he did and we chased him and as I was shooting at his car as he drove off me gun jammed and my alarm went off. It was actually a pretty good story, but needed some things fixing like the wood and glass door in the back of the vault, which had one of those huge steel doors at the front. Not really a feature you find in secure locations. The annoying thing is I'll probably never see the rest of that episode and so will never know if we catch him or not.

I think he was going to get away, but we'd get him later like Melander. What I say goes...
