Poly subs ridiculous or not? (0)

It seems that only Dom(me)s can be polyamorous, apart from the few exceptions of pro female subs that may serve more than one.

A few reasons for this spring to mind.

Is this because...

It's just not BDSM etiquette for a sub to serve more than one.
Dom(me)s are very protective of their subs, and prohibit it.
It's the uneven split, there are far fewer Dom(me)s around than subs.
There is no desire for a sub to ever serve more than one.

Perhaps there are lots polyamory (non-pro) subs out there. Though if there are, I suspect there are more poly female subs than male ones.

So popular this post was I had no where to place my reply except here just below my OP. Very interesting to read everyones poly-centric or mono-centric opinions.
I certainly agree that polyamorous behaviour isn't specific to the BDSM community, I too believe that some are "poly wired" (nice term that Grownup_Frankie) others not. Not sure whether it's down nurture or nature though. Some of the Dom(me)s that are poly seem to allow their subs to choose to be poly if they so wish, though it seems that the Dom(me) always holds the power to veto.
The reason I initially posted this was just plain curiosity, but more on a personal front, I just to see how many pure male subs are poly. Evidently there are very few, based simply because all the replies from subs here that said they are poly, were all in fact female (with the exception of one male switch).
They say that answers pose more questions, so I now am wondering why it is only pure male subs that apparently remain mostly monoamorous.
