I must admit I don't partake in the bitching when it happens either.

I'd like to spread the love too but I'm ill, you'd all end up having to debug ! :-(

Good, I just sneezed all over my keyboard and on my monitor. It's covered in little sparkles.

If we fit everything we write on an adult BDSM website to be understood by people who can't distinguish paedophiles from paediatricians, we might as well just run right into the closet.

The internet hoo-hahs do not reflect the camaderie and mutual support that actually goes on on the R/L scene.

Everyone i have ever met in RL have been great and really welcoming, 98% of people online have been really welcoming and nice too. I think it is just the odd few that ruin it for the rest. Maybe its their kink?

Im so fucking fabulous, i piss glitter. :-D

I do wonder sometimes why people think that humiliation and verbal abuse can be dished out on IC without prior consent.

I haven't heard that much bithching, but my girl has told me of a couple of occasions. I personally agree with the comment "keep it private". If i have something to say about anyone or anything they might have done that i don't agree with, i would rather take it up with them personally. It would also give them the chance to air their views and/or reasons for their comment privately back to me. But we do have to realise that we are all individuals and we dont all think or act the same. I wouldn't force my ways on others (exept my subs, lol) or expect others ways to be enforced upon me. Live and let live as they say. I would have said peace and love to all but i also dont sign autographs or intend tossing them after october 20th. LMAO. Or is that just my little rant at someone who isn't handling fame too well. Now that could start a whole new discussion. Have a nice day all and keep your shit together, and to yourselves. LOL. David.

This sort of thread just throws up more arguments. I don't do much munching in Manchester but the club scene is usually very enjoyable and I think that without the easy tit-for-tat that the internet provides, it's a good scene full of great people.

peccavi I agree with you :-D

Well, I don't think there's any harm in highlighting the situation but I know it won't stop all the spats.

But I agree with you about 'real life' compared to Net life. Glasgow clubs and munches seem to mirror what you describe in Manchester.

Away from these boards, the scene is friendly, welcoming and, above all, not the least bit clique-y.

Funnily enough...it turns out that infighting and rudeness, or even a bit of snobbyness in the dim distant past, are the reasons why my own playmate isn't keen to regain an internet or scene presence apparently.

Personally I've found everyone I've spoken to online or met face to face to be incredibly helpful and supportive, but maybe I've just been lucky? I suspect that most people,as with any walk of life ,are essentially amiable and considerate, but that there are some who feel this is "their" realm or scene and end up becoming a bit unwelcoming or even a little judgemental.

As I say, for my own experiences, so far so good..and thanks by the way for that!
