Help on what to do? (49)
This post is on the D/s Relationships web board.

I am looking for advice from the community on what should be done. I personally have been scammed by a sub who uses IC. The scam is very convincing and uses the usual IC checks to her benefit. The way that the scam works is that they create a profile on IC then post to the web boards and start conversations and add people to there network. So on the face of it they appear to be a genuine person. They then pick there target and use the story is that they are young and in a D/s relationship and they are being abused and really need help etc. They pick older Doms or Couples to play on the instinct of protection. Once they have got everything they require they create a new profile and start the process over again before they are tumbled.
Knowing that they have a new profile and moving on to someone else what should I do?
One piece of advice I have is NEVER trust a profile of less that 3 months and check with those who are in there network to find out how well they actually know them never take it at face value.

What was it that they actually wanted?
Did they have a real-life network too?
If cheetahs can run so fast, why do they never win?

But you might get a fuck out of it. Swings and roundabouts!
Edited to add: That's my second really tacky post of the day! Zen S&M: The sound of one hand smacking.

But you don't have anyone on your network - how do we know that you are genuine? |

And you know they have done this before? Several times? To me is sounds like normal behaviour from alot of people who use the internet....
You cant do anything..... maybe she just decided to move on from you? Hardly a scam now is it... did she extract money from you?
A wise person wouldnt really trust anyone until they have proven themselves to be trustworthy..... thats something you learn quite quickly in the internet game im afraid.... or maybe im just a cynic.... ~* Raku wa ku no tané; ku wa raku no tané.

You still haven't specified what she actually scammed you out of. Was it money? sex? attention? bank details? identity? If cheetahs can run so fast, why do they never win?

Certainly was not sex or attention thats life.
|
Well if you can't actually say what happened, there's not much point asking for advice, is there?
If you were scammed for money, report it to Admin as it's an aup violation. Now go and tell an egg how to suck granny.
