Ok, not an original post, but alot of the requests are for a tattooist in London; we're looking for one around the South Coast (Bournemouth through to Brighton). Jess has finished her design and we're on a tight schedule to find a decent tattooist. Obviously, we could look through list and google, but far prefer going on recommendations (of the " ____ did mine and they're fabulous- look!" type).
Think of it as helping a lovely pretty femsub in need, or as an act of chivalry for the 21st century, or something...
ETA: Jess already has one tat, and is more than a little discerning about art in any form. The only thing is we spend little time round the South now, but circumstances dictate this is where it'll probably be done.

I'd say your best bet is.Visit the studio's around you.Any good tattooist will have photo's of there work.If they havn't got photo's don't bother.Recomendations are good but everyone has differing tastes
Good luck

Tis true the tattooist around your area may point you to the perfect place but be warned if you say "Oh hey there i need some help I've been to ~inster studio here~". The tattooist will probs say "Their crap I can do better" so just have a good sniff around the problem with traveling is when you get there they could be aload of crap an you've wasted alot of time for um |

My tattooist is Chris from Tatzz in Southampton. I can't rate him high enough honestly... I love the work he has done to me and a couple of my friends He might be worth a chat to, as he is fairly local to you.
Good Luck notsoshylaynie - cleverly disguised as a responsible adult!

There is a tattoist in Portsmouth called Skelly who is very good but he doesn't have a studio, home visits only I think. Little bit off the South coast but I know of a very good studio in BAsingstoke if you want to travel a little bit further. |

May God bless and keep you always,
May your wishes all come true,
May you always do for others
And let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung,
May you stay forever young

Tattoo magic in Southampton is very good indeed. Has been established a long time and does beautiful work. It's on the Shirley High Street. |

If its Brighton, get in touch with me, a friend who has done several tatts for friends and family aswell as my own, he does have a shop but prefers to work from home and leave the shop to the other guys. http://www.brightonfab.com/

Thanks everyone. Jess has done her typical thing of going "Ooh god no... " at some of the artists' work and selecting one she believes worthy of her I can't see any differences to be honest.
Anyway, thanks everyone for the advice, it's saved us a lot of time we couldn't have afforded. "I sometimes think that the price of liberty is not so much eternal vigilance as eternal dirt." George Orwell.
