So wrong - shorts not skirts ... and stockings (92)

All of a sudden they're everywhere. Young women wearing shorts instead of short skirts. This is so wrong. You notice beautiful long delectable legs, and think how lovely, how daring, and then look up and find to your disappointment that she's wearing really short shorts, and not a skirt. I do hope this fad passes soon.
But on the bus yesterday was an even more bizarre variation. A young woman showing gorgeous legs, and as one looked up the top of what were obviously stockings (not tights) came into view. (The darker band which they have for the top few inches). And then, above that, the short shorts.
Well what is a gentleman to do. Where is he supposed to look. How can he keep his mind and his thoughts pure?

Well, I suppose we could insist that women dress carefully to avoid titilating strangers on buses, like they do in Saudi Arabia.
Or just remember that people wear whatever they like for their own pleasure, and have no interest in what pervy man on bus thinks they should be wearing.

I think I need to pay more attention as I am missing this social phenomenon, which bus route ?

Shorts with tights was so last summer. I haven't seen shorts with stockings yet but it sounds weird. I have to confess that my clothing fetish demands that stocking tops do not show unintentionally in public so I can't imagine I'm going to find it attractive. However, I didn't like the shorts and tights thing initially but it has grown on me.

I get annoyed when i see women with bare legs, put some hosiery on! theirs so much choice!

3 mths I hate tights I have to admit. But a smart pair of pinstriped short-shorts with stockings (with back seam) and a pair of stilettos? It works! I wore that last friday with a snug black blouse and none of the men around me seemed to think there was anything wrong with it, quite the opposite!
