WHAT: games night
WHEN: thurs, 30th october. 6:30pm, main event from 8:30pm
WHERE: the studio, west london, W5 3BQ
above "The Ring" Pub and Restaurant, Western Avenue (A40), London W5 3BQ. Adjacent to the Park Royal tube station. From the station, look for the highly visible "Park Royal Mini Cabs" yellow sign. Entrance is pillared and up 4 steps at the front of the pub next to the car park entrance. driving: Western Avenue westbound. adjacent to Park Royal Tube Station. 150 metres London side of junction of the A40 (Western Avenue) and the A406 (North Circular) at Hangar Lane. map here

good denizens of IC: if there's sufficient enthusiasm from the boards, i'm hoping we can pull together a one-off games night extravaganza at the kind invitation of the studio, which many of you will already know from the west london munch.
good news! the studio has *acres* of table space for board, card and dice games. you'll be able to spread right out for a quiet round of backgammon, chess, dominoes or whatever else you fancy, and we'll even have a special 1.5m long table set up for bigger games like carcassone and settlers(?)
better news! kinky games and forfeits are most welcome. feetintrouble, it could be "spanky spanky's" finest hour!
even better news! as lots of you know, the studio also has acres of floor space, so we can indulge in giant connect four, naked twister and yes... wait for it... *JELLY WRESTLING*... in comfort!
best news yet! the BAR will of course be open! hurrah!
but... to make it work, we need three things:
people to participate!
people to help clean up!
a small, *ahem*, 'whip' round on the night to help cover the cost of materials. (entirely voluntary, of course)

so if you're game for a bit of jelly wrestling with a load of deliciously slippery, scantily clad, kinky guys n gals, or indeed you want to nominate your grovelly one for some gooey fun, please sign up on the list below.
nb: swimming togs, taffeta ballgowns, full rubber frogman suits and birthday suits are all acceptable, subject to the consent of your opponent(s).

Competition length: 3 minute matches
Participants must not stand (starting point from kneeling)
Ways to win:
Pinfall - In order to win by pinfall, a wrestler must pin his opponent down while the referee counts to three. (and also not drown them in jelly.)
Submission (teehee) - To win by submission, the wrestler must make their opponent give up.
Countout - A countout (alternatively "count-out", "count out") happens when a wrestler is out of the ring long enough for the referee to count to 10. The count is broken and re-started when a wrestler inside the ring leaves the ring.
if enough folks sign up, i think we'll aim for a combination of wwf style group tag team action and one-on-one grudge matches.

practical bit:
please be advised that you jellywrestle at your own personal risk. there aren't showers at the studio, but you'll be able to use the sinks in the bathrooms for a rough wash. please come clean and please bring towels. it might be a good idea to bring a warm jumper and/or slave too. don't worry, the jelly is non-toxic and won't stain your skin, clothes or towels, but please don't eat it! its not *that* sort of jelly. if you're hungry, bring cake! heck, bring cake anyway
for anyone who can't make it, we'll hope to see you back at the nellie dean as usual next month.
last but not least, if you're a complete star and you think you might be able to stay on and help clean up please memo me... thank you x

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, Me and Just_boy will be in London. W00t. As we are travelling down from deepest darkest norf we will bring some stuff but it will have to be small and transportable.

It sounds like fun, I may pop in for this one, but not the jelly stuff. I think there is Trivial Pursuit under the bed so will bring it with me.
