I read her little article about kink and felt amused, particularly by today's post which says "nyah, I don't care what you think" in essense. Aww! Sandbox politics!

Yeah. Pretty commonplace really. Award winning blog. Two faction books that sold well. A TV series, followed by Series 2. A 3 book novel deal. By the age of 30. Happens all the time, doesn't it.
As for Doghouse_Reilly, I don't believe a word, what substance is he on ? Round here, it's an on time bus that is remarkable, and as for roadkill ....

I apologise. Didn't intend to alter your meaning. Just trying to help those with typical online attention spans, the ones for whom "pause" and "thought" are too challenging - no one on this thread, naturally.
Though now you have brought it up again, frankly what other people care about me doesn't much affect whether I'm curious about them. It's usually what they write that intrigues. When I've met published authors at scene events it has always been interesting to meet the person behind the words.
As for Belle, of course she's not writing great literature. But she does have - as has been remarked - a way with words, experiences, and an insight into character that makes many smile.
She, like Max Mosley - if I can sneak that in whilst nortyboy and karla are looking the other way - has left public perception of the wilder shores of physical expression in a better shape than before their contribution, for which I'm grateful.
Purrverse, do you really think the OP linked piece was disrespectful ? Surely it was more savaging judgemental twue dom(me)s, a sentiment many share, and for the first time explained why though she is part of the kink scene she didn't write more about her own kink experiences. Pity. |
