One persons " Good Domme" is another persons nightmare. Your profile states you are new to all this and all the Dommes I know welcome newbies.
My suggestion would be to give Lady Anna a ring. She is based in Bradford, which I don't think is to far out of your area range. You can find her postings on this forum and she is on the Mistress index.

I guess it is personal choice and fetish/personality (sensual or mmmmm not so sensual).
On merseyside there is madam raison detre, the best pro domme I have visited, but that is only 4 so I am not an officianado!
Despite many on this site looking down on pro-dommes they tend to be stunningly beautiful and really receptive to understanding your preferences.
