A lot of hard work! You need to make sure your site is search engine optimised and that it uses a reputable payment scheme such as ccBill or Verotel. You need to set up affiliate re-selling programmes and provide material for your affiliates to use. Regular updates are essential and you should join sites that have message boards on your 'kink' that allow you to promote your site. It has taken me a year to get page 1 listing in Google for the search terms I want for Sound Punishment by using the above and other SEO techniques I have developed. From experience I'd say the very first thing you have to do is get your system for taking payments set up. If it's not as quick and efficient as possible the site will never work. If I was doing it again I'd want the payment system to be fully in place and up to standard before I even thought of getting together any actual content. |
