For those that didn't understand my WHY blog, i'll explain.
I very stupidly logged onto IC one day when i was bored in work.
The other day a comment was made by my boss about people looking at "porn sites" on the work computer. So i got all paranoid and hid all identifying details from my profile.
Anyway, i've now had a rethink and decided that i don't care. If work find me on here then so be it, i'm not doing anything illegal just by being on here, and anyway, can this site really be classed as a porn site?

It's your employer's equipment so they can decide what is ok and what isn't. (Porn sites aside).

At my office, IC is blocked via software from Head Office because it's classed as a sex site. I'm not sure how they've programmed it, or if it's anything to do with IC's coding, because we all look at clubhades and LFS sites with no problems <G>
Although we have plenty of "free access time" on the computer (it's timed, and the filters still apply), we *do* have to agree to a Computer Usage Policy as we sign in to our computers. Nobody ever actually reads it though - like the AUP here, it's one of those things that you don't think about until you're in trouble The consequence at work is greater though, so it's probably wisest to check out your company's rules. judy
