I suppose he's made these images following his recent press quote. (Thread with loads of links here: http://www.informedconsent.co.uk/boards/activism... )

OK then... serious debate, now... following recent discussions about perverted images of public figures...
Is making such images just 'bad activism'? How low is it right to go? Or is this political satire which makes a point?
I think it's the words which back up the intent which matter more to me.. Ben is right: "They are trying to dismantle our basic human rights. We cannot just sit here and take this. We cannot just lie back and watch this ludicrous Act slip in the back door." . I reckon these images might get Ben back in the press and the issue of extreme porn... and that it's fair game

UK, 4 mths that depends on how seriously you take what you're doing.
If you're at home in the gutter with the tabloids then feel free to wallow there..... thats not personal judgement and please don't take it as such. But as the folks on IC like to dig the knife into the gutter press i feel that they should at least maintain some sort of moral high ground.
The again I'm not an activist of any kind,

Are they *really* by BW (you don't suppose his career got a bit of a boost from being Viv's son, do you?)?
I don't imagine they'll do any harm, but as agitprop they're weak and obvious. Can't see them bringing the masses onto the streets demanding the abolition of all anti-porn legislation!

Does it help bring the issue to the table and isn't that a good thing? I think his recent press statements definitely did.

It concerns me that a group allegedly representing "us" often seems quite alarmingly clueless about what kind of tactics are helpful and which are damaging.
If you are trying to educate people that what "we" do is consensual do you really think photoshopping politician's heads onto nudie girl pics is a good example of that?
It doesn't even address the type of images that are in danger anyway.
It's an own goal as far as I'm concerned.
