I snorted loudly when Liz Longhurst reached the point in her long tale about the porn maker who made a string of snuff movies starring the same woman! priceless.
(although she did go to lengths to point out that this woman was no trafficked eastern european, but a young home grown girl - so she did get some points for that)

Yes i did. You miss my point 1 speaker for our side and 2 speakers on the governments side. the 2nd speaker against us was given most of the air time. if you listen regular to Vine he always allows more points to be made for the governments side. It would not surprise me if a spoof caller was air saying " I look at violent porn and they have given me the urge to kill some body". It would not be the 1st time this program resorted to such tactics. | |

Just listened to it. The woman at the start gave a great argument but that bloody MP twisted everything, he linked in terrorism and child porn to justify the ban. All he would say was that there was too much evidence but never expanded on any of this so called evidence. And this guy represents the people???????? Tricky | |

From a kink point of view things will only get worse. This is because thanks to Harriet Harman,its very likely there will be a Swedish style ban on men paying for prostitution. This will obviously be used by New Labour to target pro Dommes. The outlook is dire i'm afraid. | |

The woman on this show was very good, I thought. And the arguments she put forward were ignored by the MP and the arguments put forward for the law were too wide: She said: * we can watch murders on Murder She Wrote, so the law isn't about stopping us see murders or strangulations * the law stops a husband and wife taking a photo of themselves pretending to do something, consent and privacy is not a defense and that's inhibiting civil liberties * there is no evidence that watching violent porn causes you to be a murderer, in fact there's evidence to the contrary * consenting adults should be allowed to do what they want if it doesn't hurt anybody * it's no one's business what "staged" photos people might want to watch in private He said: * there are many women who are sex slaves who are forced to perform for these videos and that they're not staged they're real * children might be able to see them on the internet * it encourages murder and paedophilia * he says there is evidence that watching violent porn causes you to be a murderer * he suggested that people are wanting to include videos of children of 12, and claim they consented. So, logically, they should ban: * forcing people to do things against their will (already banned) * allowing staging but not real harm * ensuring parents supervise children on the internet or using internet controls to prevent children seeing it * doing more research into the evidence But they should allow: * consenting staged photos * private photos Sorry, I couldn't bear to listen to the Longhurst women's sob story. I'm sorry her daughter was murdered, but how do you know if his images were because he was a murdered or whether they caused his murdering nature. If it caused it, and millions of people watch this stuff, how come there's not millions of murderers.
