Hmm I too hummed and Hahhed over responding to this thread. Originally I didn't in the hope it would die a death again but as it hasn't... I agree with Alan Bstard on all his points. The funhouse is not a commercial venture and as far as I can tell having a few people over to play is not taking over the scene!

I find it interesting that Lady Pandora makes a comment regarding length on the scene. Does time on the scene mean anything? I have only been out on the scene since end of last year but thats because prior to that I wasn't "out" about my lifestyle. I have been playing actively since I was 17 and Pro Dommed some 9 years ago. I didn't realise I wasn't a proper Domme until I hit the scene though!

Townhouse is one of my favourite places to play because its a damn good club, clean and well equipped. The people who own it and those who are actively involved in the running of the Radical Desire night put in a lot of time and effort to make it successful and it certainly is. It seems unfair that because of some squable with the DM the entire club is being brought down.

And Admin I have to ponder why the sudden muck-raking when the issue has surely been buried for some time now?

Surely such an accusation only stands up if the ICO can actually find anything of concern? Otherwise the response would simply be "yeah go on then, its no bother to us"?

Although its not quite the reason for saying they would go to the ICO that I heard (something to do with the DPA I recall?)

I agree, I've been to THI a few times and it's a very good club, well maintained and the people running it are lovely.

I don't know any of the people involved in this spat and I'm not interested in getting involved with any scene politics. I think it unfair that a pertinent thread discussing the Radical Desires night should be highjacked in this manner - keep things on topic please.

I stand by what I have said as I can prove it - and am proving it to people who need to know in order to bring this matter to a satisfactory legal conclusion.

As for this matter having gone away, perhaps the pervy family believe it has. However, again, that is only one side.

My request for this not to turn into a playground argument was purely because when people who don't have possession of facts start to stick their two penn'orth in they muddy the waters and run the risk of exposing themselves as being ignorant - as they certainly are with regard to the facts.

I notice that neither bothered to reply to the questions posed by Admin, even though they were both at THI last night and therefore able to. Shame the thread has been hijacked.

We have actually spoken a few times, though not recently, and not about this issue. I've read several posts you've made though, and I know the people being accused, and I genuinely believe that you are mistaken.

I don't think anyone thinks this issue has gone away yet, though I expect many people are hoping it will.

Why is it though that you are allowed to post whatever allegations, insults, and veiled threats you want, but I and others get attacked for replying? If this is being dealt with by lawyers, then why are you and Admin even posting about it? If you're allowed to post about it, then why is any reply that you don't like someone's "ignorant" "two penn'orth", just "muddying the waters"? Other people's profiles have been blocked, yet you can still say whatever you want about people that cannot defend themselves on this forum.

This thread started off as a standard club event thread. If it was "hijacked" by anybody, then it was by Admin asking questions that I frankly find disturbing, and do not intend to answer. I was away when this all blew up on the web boards, and decided not to re-open the can of worms when I found out about it, though I would certainly have posted earlier otherwise. If someone wants to start a new thread about this, I'll post any replies there instead.

I will memo you and Admin with my telephone number if you want to talk privately. I was going to do that before, but wanted to wait till I'd got something else sorted out.
