... gosh! Just watched it for the first time... beautiful!
"Theres so much beauty in the world that I feel like my hearts going to burst" (or something like that.. )
Spot on.
Let the beauty in and you wont mind the ugly bits so much. In fact, you wont even notice them.

One of my all time favourite films. It's exquisite. No colours or shapes

A beautiful film.... Life is never quite what it appears
Some Men know that a light touch of the tongue, running from a woman's toes to her ears, lingering in the softest way possible in various places in between, given often enough and sincerely enough, would add immeasurably to world peace. Marianne Williamson

This movie totally rocks. I went and bought a copy recently at HMV even though I have one in storage elsewhere, because I missed it. The people are so... intense. I get the feeling it would be better to be as intensely alive as they are, even when they are miserable, than to just be half-alive as I always seem to be in comparison. I found the characters "real", not necessarily intense. I have to admit, (and I'm not bigging myself up or owt) that I feel that alive. Some folks just think I'm excitable.. but frankly whats to not get EXCITED about? WOW.. a squirrel just did acrobatics! WOW, I was naughty! WOW, aint she PRETTY! WOW, sausages for tea! ugly? what ugly? where?

I fucking hate that film. I think I am in a quite small,
though utterly cool minority.

Agreed; stunning film. Absolutely stunning. Kevin Spacey's character actually reminds me a little of you. (That's meant in the nicest possible way.)

I liked it, but it seemed like "Happiness" without the teeth. |
