I have never known a nation so passionate about recycling as Sweden is. The rules are very specific and strict. I got rid of a few things in the 'household burning' section at the start of the year, but now i have a lot more personal items and toys that i no longer want to keep, especially my sharps box/case (a few hundred needles, scalpels staplers etc...). The trouble is, is that i don't have a clue how to get rid of them. Gasmasks aren't too much of a problem, it's the floggers and metal items and of course the sharps box with stapler, needles, scalpels. I want to be responsible with them. I hope to drag a couple of friends out to the recycling place with me over the weekend as i can't lift the stuff by myself.
It's also time to say goodbye to the rubber. That was a passion that i shared with Thomas. Last night i packed up the last of Thomas's clothes, the ones that smelt of him and still do surprisingly. I just wish i could get rid of the diving gear. The only other job i have is to sort out his tools but i don't have a clue where to start.
