Rosemary that is, not a green fanged spider!
So, in the car I continued reading about the scary spiders:
"GREEN-fanged spiders with a nasty bite are spinning their webs in Cheltenham and Gloucester"
"After it was revealed at the weekend a colony of 40 Segestria Florentinas are living in Tredworth, in the city, more county residents say they have been visited by the creepy crawlies, not normally found so far inland"
I think I was too hung-over to take that in and as the days have gone by, I have slowly started looking in corners of the room - yet to have a green fanged visitor!
Anyway, when I got home I collapsed in that hungover, feeling sorry for myself, whiny heap on the sofa and flicked through the pages of the Citizen and there it was - a full page spread on the new RCD&FC's coming to Gloucester - I madly scanned the different classes on offer and there it was, in a sports centre just down the road! I felt overwhelmed! I explained it all to pup in some garbled message without taking a breath and he said he would happily take me and pick me up after the class.
I felt a ridiculous excitement, like I knew this was it and that battle over the years (and years) had ended, yet I hadn't yet begun really.
It had started in the area on Sept 1st (how did I miss this!) so I was joining pretty much at the start. The best thing for me was that my first class would be in less than 2 days - that really mattered to me, I wanted to start right now!
That evening I sat down with pup and a nice roast ham dinner to watch King Kong, I occasionally glanced at my plate and remember thinking, my portions are far too large, that is the main thing I will need to change as I am not really one for stuffing my face on crisps, chocolate, cakes and sweets.
So, why am I in the position of needing to go to RCD&FC?

There used to be a fair amount of those classes round this way (Im pretty local to you  ) and a friend of the family had better success with this regime than with some of the others.
hope it works well for you! Im waiting for clearance to return to the gym but it seems as if it is never going to come

I spoke to a couple of ladies that were there on Monday and they said they used to go to a class at somewhere called Hillview(?)on Hucclecote Road. I sincerely hope it lasts this time round!
