...new pine!
I am sat here looking at and smelling our new pine toy chest!
It has taken pride of place under the window in the lounge.
The reason for this purchase is to have all our toys to hand to make life far easier when playing rather than having to root about in various cupboards and draws.
We spent some time sorting them all out last night - I had forgotten about alot of the items we have.
Oh how exciting!
Kat

Yes, the smell of new pine is really refreshing! As you know I'm a bit of a carpenter, so am familiar with that nasal hedonism which happens when you put the saw in. Most new woods have a characteristic smell, Oak is nice, and sandalwood is fantastic! I can recommend walking in the woods after the rain, especially now the autumn is coming !So get down to the forest of dean and take in the air! X |

The smell of wood is very good, as mentioned above, sandalwood smells particularly nice & yes a wander around the woods, can be highly recommended.
Its also surprising what items/toys you'd forgotten about, especially if they've been 'lost' in dark cupboards & not been used for some time..Hope you have lots of fun re-discovering your 'lost' toys |
