Kinkdom: a huge Thank You (22)

So, here goes:

Eric Stanton, for huge efforts and fantastic results in creating, adapting and organising kit, helping to organise us, making that lovely changing room (I just wanted to curl up in it for a while!) and working tirelessly through the whole day and night to make things run smoothly and well.

Zack, for promoting the event, supporting us with words and wisdom, for also working tirelessly through the day, keeping things and people on track, putting the play club together, public announcement, sorting out DJ and technical sound problems and DMing.

Graham and Kelly, star crew members, if they got a break, they managed it without me spotting it. I'm sorry I had to work you so hard, you'll get time off next time, honest!! Marshalling, crew kitchen, staff bacon sandwiches, barbi, cleaning the barbi (not needed next time   ).

Tim the elder, first dumped on the ticket desk, then incarcerated in the cloakroom, Nathan, the stalwart of the advance sales desk, all the others who through the afternoon and evening took stints on tickets and cloakroom, I don't know who they are because I didn't have chance to look.

Excalibur, chef, demo man, burner of the sausages and breaker of our barbi tongs. We love him really! Aided and abetted by serving wench Felicity.

The dancing girls, the Scarlet sirens, aka Trudy and Emma, and was it any accident that the sight of those two in negligees vacuuming up after the pillow fight was just as popular as the performances themselves?

Mistress H, working hard all day with the performers and involving people in all that was going on. House Domme, DM, figurehead, it all merged, as it did with many.

The Freak girls with their fluorescent flogging demo, I missed it sadly, but I heard good things about it and I've seem them in action in London and Chesterfield, so I know they're good.

The music guys, Gadge (PilgrimUK) pushing the show on despite huge recent problems back in Nottingham, Adrian, of Pamela's Playroom playing music that had the club owner asking for details and wanting more. The bit I had least control of, the bit I chucked the best I could find at and hoped it would work, I was stunned by the result. Not everyone's taste, the music never will be, but I got more positives, some of them very, very positive, than negatives and thought how much the music was the ideal compromise between the needs of play and dance.

The DMs: the Twisted Sisters, SweetieJar, Eric and Zack again, Snow Queen, all keeping the play area safe.

The venue manager and staff, all seemingly enjoying the atmosphere of something entirely new to them. Tom, the manager, has been great from the start, very supportive, an overturner of obstacles, he made it easy for us.

The stall holders, supporting us knowing that new event is always a risky business, and of course, the people its aimed at , you, the kink community, thank you all for your support.

I will have missed out some people here, I'm tired, we've a lot to do, I haven't even had chance to check in with Tim about the people he needs to thank, but this post needs to go out. The best I can do is to say that anyone who made a significant contribution to Kinkdom that I missed out, hunt me down at Kinkdom2 and spank me for it

ETA Mr Daws, who to be fair to me, I saw very little of because he was working with Donnachaidh, but also k-subbie, working from 9-30am that day, through until about 7. How could I forget her?
