Well Twisted Sisters and boy had very good time, food was fab everyone was friendly - great to meet so many people from the North and to echo other sentiments glad to be back home and relaxing by 11.45pm Well done Kinkdom! I just wrote a long feedback but seeing as the computer just crashed and lost it - Im going to write it in short, before throwing the pc across the room ! lol.. Great night - fantastic people - scrummy sights. We also had car broken into so a huge loss and tears for us at end of day, and perhaps to be noted to avoid the multi storey in future?? Thanks to all who made our day special - who kissed, cuddled, hugged and danced with us and special thanks to luke from Me for being the strong arms who held me in traumatic times and showed his compassion for Me during the day- I love you darling x
Mistress Alpha and crew are to be commended for the hard work and results To those who dont know who I am - I was the one in black pvc dress and blue hair - grins - and of course a gorgeous sub at my side. Despite our loss we are still smiling and will be back next month with our stall .. free kisses and hugs to all who ask for one - from luke for the boys, and Me for the girlies ...giggles. Those who didnt attend missed out a fab day.. oh and I managed to spank the cloakroom girls bum too - and had a delighted sqeal in response .. lol. love n light ..to old friends and new likeminded kinky peeps who made our day complete. I'd also like to thank Mistress Alpha and all the crew for a great event. I won't add to what Mistress has already said, except to add my personal thanks to all those we met and interacted with; and to express regret if we didn't get chance to meet you. Hopefully next time. I danced with 2 beautiful Dommes - thanks to Mistress and to Mistress 'H', who graciously accepted having me thrown - not TOO unwillingly! - into her arms (to dance with!). I also got 2 kisses from really lovely people; despite what Mistress says, only one from a guy! And ate birthday cake with someone I'm pleased to count as a friend (happy birthday again, Firmhanded!) And spent a decent chunk of the evening enjoying getting flogged and trying out the new toys Mistress allowed me to buy during the afternoon. So, all in all, pretty much heaven! Hoorah! Well done and cheers for Kinkdom!! My feet are killing me, (the shoes I brought to change into were the wrong ones...I blame my hopeless maid...), so 12 hours running about, dancing, flogging, etc, have taken their toll. However, it was a triumph, and I'm so pleased that everyone I asked seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. I agree about the IC labels, but understand that not everyone is on IC..I am crap at remembering peoples names, (and even not recognising two lovely ladies I had met the previous evening...sorry!) so it would have been of help to me certainly! It was lovely to see chums from the old days. Great to dance...music was excellent, (DJ scrummy in latex!) Yes, I think we have the awakening of a new interest by the young lady in the cloakroom. I will be instructing her further!(He he he) Judging by the comments so far, it has been a really great event. Thank you Lady Alpha for inviting me to assist, and well done for all your very hard work. Looking forward to the next one. My only complaint was that the pole wasn't the right size, as I was wanting to do a demo and workshop..but hey, another day... See you all next time. Mistress H | ||

I thought the stalls were very good, the stuff on them appeared to be quality stuff and the boot and shoe stall alone had so much stock I was taken aback by the amount they'd managed to bring along. I saw lots of things I liked but ended up buying nothing. Shopping isn't in my genes I'm afraid and I got bored after an hour or so of stall browsing. So I went out and socialised on the roof. I met so many people I know and a lot of them I've not seen for ages. It was very good to see them all again. I spoke to a few new-to-me people and enjoyed the coffee at £1 a cup which is a reasonable price. Can't speak for the bar prices as I don't think I bought a drink there, but I did hear someone saying something about £2 for a bottle of water, which is a bit steep. The cloakroom was excellent value at £0.00p and as I'd bought our tickets in advance I thought the £15 each I'd paid was good value for a whole afternoon and evening. We had to leave earlyish but I did manage to get changed into some finery and strut about for a while, in between people being bent over random bits of furniture and beaten. I notice a few people have commented on how clean the place was. I must admit the carpet wasn't sticky but the place has that horrid sort of sicky smell that you get from spilled drinks soaking in over a long time. Quite unpleasant but nothing that can be done by anyone apart from the venue and if it is an active nightclub the smell would be back within a couple of months even if they did refurbish it. I enjoyed most of my time there, I'd probably arrive a bit later next time as I'm not really into shopping and am not interested in watching demos. I'd also arrange to take Monday off work so I could stay later and enjoy the rest of the night there. Going away at 8.30pm wasn't fun! all drinks at the Acca are £2-be it J2O, pint of Tetleys, one of those voddie mixes, a wee dram or bottle of water... they do club offers during the week (Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights-it is absolutely heaving then-Halifax is a boozing and partying town with more pubs per person than any other town) | ||

True, except the bottle of water at £2.00. That was a till programming error, they should be £1, now corrected. Oh, and a bottle of Stella is £2.50. Can't get them to change that. Edited 8 Sep 08, 11:26 PM by Donnachaidh |
