So now you know, to do your shopping before the next tattoo
Always worth noting to have a sugary drink with you, or some dextrose tablets. Some people take both vitamin C for a week before a tattoo, and some ibruprofen a couple of hours before also.
I think your companion means that you were experiencing an endorphin rush, something that can be experienced in such a situation, and not necessarily sub space
The foot is probably one of most tender places to have a tattoo, certainly for the first time.
Hope it turns out as you desire

Thank you for your serious response.... most of my blog was meant to be with humour.... sorry if it didn't come across that way. (Btw... my sub did actually say that it was most likely to be an endorphin rush. )
I hope it turns out as I want, too.... have just had it bathed (it's not bloody at all - is that normal?) and am not entirely sure it is as I had expected but, I can always go back and have the colour topped up.

Don't worry about how it looks right now... keep it clean and dry and moisturised as instructed.. it'll prob take about 3 weeks in all to settle down and then you can judge it properly... at the moment you will have some swelling, discolouration from bruising and blood etc... mine always looked alot darker when first done - and beautifully vibrant when healed...
Look forward to seeing the result!

Thank you... Mine looks lighter and a lot less vibrant than I requested it to be. Time will tell, I'll have to wait and see.
