Went to KFC. Spoke to the intercom thing and then said "Thank you"
I remember the times my mom drummed it into me "What do you say?, what do you say?". It's second nature now, someone holds the door "Thank you", someone buys me a drink "Thank you".
I mean isn't that great that we take a moment to thank someone?. You could say "well it's habit, it doesn't mean anything", but it does because if you don't say it people notice. We say thank you, it's an acknowledgement and an appreciation for something.
We have gun and knife crime, but still we say "Thank you"
I think that's something.

i have brought my son up to be polite and use his manners and the older children call him names because of it!! Its just not "cool". Its no wonder children who are brought up correctly get bullied.
It pisses me off!! excuse my language!!  |
