A HUGE thank you to everyone who took the time to come along last night.
What am absolutely wonderful turn out for the first Cambridge munch at the new venue. I am sorry if I didn't get round to everyone and I heard that Littleboots worked his arse off meeting and greeting for me in my absense at the start of the night so THANK YOU to him. (and for kicking me up the behind to get things rolling again-tis much appreciated.)
Okay as for the new venue, we never know how a new event nor location will affect us nor will we ever know until the night how well it will go. For the turn out we had it was absolutely fantastic. Especially due to the torrential rain we experienced, you lot really made such an effort for us that it was very heart warming. To see SO many new faces and people enjoying themselves it really makes what we do in Cambridge worthwhile. You lot rock!!!
Positives. A good venue. Not badly located. Good toilet facilities. Fabulous barstaff (some of whom you may recognise 
) Parking nearby. Bar prices which aren't going to make you completely out of pocket like some of the inner city bars.
Negatives. Loud karaoke -luckily it was a one off I have been assured!! The amount of people reducing the size of the room so much so that I have a feeling the whole pub will be taken over next month. Pizza- now.. usually pizza feeds all who ask for it. Apologies for this not being the case last night. I knew of at least six people who were left out due to the appetite of the room full of people whose hunger was raring This will be better next month. I have a little something up my sleevie so hopefully our guests will not be left out. (hope the chips helped half the hunger slightly). The room itself was very warm too but we will just have to remember to open the windows a while beforehand 
But all in all I think it was a stonking good night. We had some very beautiful people turn up and the newbies seemed to outweigh our regulars. Not bad at all really. It seems to me that what we do here in Cambridge is a good recipe for a fantastic night out. I haven't, personally, felt this positive in months. Partially due to events going tits up and venue managers just being perfect twits. But I think we have found a wonderful couple of venues. Our teething problems will be noted and recitified before next munch.

Although the venue was a little small. I found it more ... let say intimate. Teething problem that can be sorted. I personally think it's a great venue and very welcoming to us kinky lot.
Now I was not in much of a fit state to enjoy as much as usual I agree with Greedy_Girl Cambridge events or kicking of in full swing and now venues are sorted I do believe we are going to get bigger than first anticipated.
Well done to Boots and GreedyGirl ( even though you need a kick up d arse now and again
I for one hope to see all the people that showed up last return for more. Oh and next time watch out as I won't be dropping and will be full in force Get you're rocks off on Planet Rock |

Cally and myself were so sorry that we had to miss this wonderful event. It sounds like a great night was had by all. This time we went to visit some very good friends and we have become firmer now. Perhaps one day we can get them to come to the munch with us. I suspect that they might like that but are really very very shy for now. Githane One Half of GC INC |
