this morning I met my daughter in Greenwich so that we could go to the Market and buy pressies for my son.
There is a big wheel outside the doors to the ORNC gifte shoppe and i though we should go on.
NOTE I said I, for it was indeed me who proposed this, Fear of flying had been proved to be a myth, and I fully believed that I could do this. We got in and a nice young man told us we would go round 3 times unless we needed to get off, in which case punch the button.
We started to move . the pod started to swing i couldn't just see ahead i could see down. I closed my eyes, grabbed my daughters hand and said press the button I can't go round more than once.
She pressed. , and so did I...She will probably bear the imprints of her mother's palms till the day she dies. The worst part wsa that it kept stopping for people to get on :o(.
Lizzie held my hands and talked calmly to me as teh prespiration ran down my face, She got me to tell her about the munch last night, and as I gotto the end of it the wheel stopped so we could get out.
I was shaking and nearly in tears.
"Mummy" she said" you were very brave, and tell Man Of Kent that he should be too."
So why do I feel like an idiot and still want to cry.

You shouldn't feel bad, you did more than you have done before. Its a big step to face any of your fears like that to just jump in with both feet. So if anything you should feel proud of doing it. Some people say i am evil, i have no idea why they think that.

I think it's brilliant that you gave it a go. You survived so you should congratulate yourself on that and I'm sure MoK will feel the same way! x www.fetiqueuk.com www.brightonfab.com http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhKU-tmSQR8
