Yes, that is odd - there was even a link to her site (which still appears to be working). Why were people so insistent that it wasn't her, when it turns out that is is?

If that was a sworn statement witnessed by either a serving plod, solicitor/barriste/para legal and offered in evidence then yes, though strictly speaking she could be prosecuted for defrauding the News of the Screws. However, as the NoTW reneaged on the deal by giving a lower payment they wouldn't have much ground to make a complaint on.

I'm just curious to know how he managed to keep it totally secret from his wife for such a long time? (forty-five years?). Surely he would have inadvertently said things which gave an inkling to his inclinations or perhaps there would have been marks on his body?

I think her statement was used in court so she lied to the court. Lord Browne who lied about how he met his gay lover which was a very very immaterial lie in his case in a written statement was really damaged when that was found out, didn't help his privacy case at all.
But she may not have quite said that she lied in the statement or she might say NoW forced it on her or something. It would presumably be for the police to prosecute her for the crime of contempt of court like happened to Archer and Aitkin.

Witless, sorry Witness E's apology was even less sincere than that of Jo Moore's. By putting her ugly mug on the TV "news" and bemoaning her mis-fortune, she's simply turning the knife into MM's wife, family and friends. Crocodile tears and all that...

Anything for money, just shows how low some people will sink. I did hear rumours that Max Clifford told her and her husband to take a hike, but that requires confirmation.

Perhaps he just doubts their newsworthiness beyond a week or two?
I think even Max Clifford has standards, rumour also has it he sent Al-Fayed packing as well. I suspect he realises Michelle and her husband Mr Spy who fleeced me are a poison chalise.

I have to hold my hands up to being one of the people who said,in private NOT on any boards,that it wasn't A*i who had done the filming
I had been told this by a very trustworthy Domme (and close friend of A*i)and (curiously) by her "spooky " husband
To be lieing at that stage seems to indicate they were way out of their depth
