Last night my lovely Wife and I went to watch the Lady Boys of Bangkok in Manchester.

The pavillion is set out with an open air seating/smoking area, there was a place to get Thai food and of course 3 bars.

The performance area itself is arranged with a central stage and tables around seating up to 8 people. However 8 is too many and some dont get the best view!

The show is the 'typical' caberet with the Lady Boys miming to classic songs (I am what i am...etc) and new songs from the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna etc.

It amazing how female they are/look...they most definatly put many biological women to shame!!!!

Some of the performances are move comical by nature and men beware...they pull up willing people onto the stage!!!

However, we were left wanting more and maybe not in the right way! I guess i wanted more glamour...better cheography..perhaps real singing?! I was also left with a strange/dirty feeling like i'd been to a 'strange but true zoo'....not that i am saying the perfomers are strange...but that the 'pulling factor' is that they are male>female trans and not that they're particularly talented.

Needless to say...we had a nice night!

Anyone else seen it?

I'm sure Alan Partridge was there, incognito of course.

But, not because he is attracted to them, they just confuse him.

If you are willing to look at another person's behaviour towards you as a reflection of the state of their relationship with themselves rather than as a statement about your value as a person, then you will, over a period of time, cease to react to them

Quite right, he was trying to order 'Driving Miss Daisy' but became confused with the buttons.
