SO today I had another physio session (my 4th one with the evil man!) and I am more than ever convinced he is a sadist.
Today's conversations included:
"I am going to enjoy this, you might not, but I will"
"Is that hurting? good, so lets do it some more shall we"
"This exercise is going to hurt the most so I want you to do it while I watch"
That last one was said whilst he made me lie on my side (topless I might add) and push my arm against the bed trying to self-manipulate the muscles. He stood over me watching intently and we had this conversation:
Me- "That really hurts"
Physio- "Good keep going Alexandria"
Me- "I'd rather not!"
Physio- "ALexandria does everyone call you that or do they shorten it"
Me- "My mother calls me that when I am in trouble"
Physio- "Do you feel like you are in trouble now Alexandria?"
Me- "It certainly hurts like I am"
Physio- "Good, so I shall call you by your full name then still Alexandria"
All this said whilst I am doing the above exercise and he is smiling.
So now I have a set of 6 exercise instead of 4, GRRRRRRRRR

Ahhhh Physios, goota love em, mine was cute and 20 summat, but then I was 14 and never stood a chance, often wore baggy shorts mind you, to spare me blushes can't crack me I'm a rubber duck | ||

Just hope he doesn't stick you under one of those heat therapy lamps, can't remember the proper name but you don't really feel any heat from them, and leave you to burn. I had one do that on me once, my shoulder, he came back in a real panic. Good luck, hope it does you some good.
Hmmm wonder if I could become a physio therapist, licence to inflict pain - legally Live your life in such a way that when
