Tanos, popi, charlie and I all attended the Lovetrix festival this weekend, and it was great! The sun shone, the food was lovely, people were friendly and there was a general sense of ease about the place that made it a really great venue to spend time.
I'd been asked to do a demo/workshop on Making people bleed, which covered cutting, skin puncture, venepuncture and cannulation techniques. The "theory" for that work shop can be found here: http://www.tybernetics.com/workshops/blood
I'd forgotten how much fun work shops can be, and it was really great to have so many people showing enough of an interest that they came up following the talking/demo bit, to look, touch and play with some of the equipment I'd used in the hour we'd put aside for just that. I love hands on workshops, and it seemed to work really well.
The evening was great too, and to come back to a venue still buzzing with atmosphere was fantastic. The band playing, people swimming in the pool, the fire demo down on the lawn (just wow!) and I even managed to get in a lovely rope scene before heading off home to sleep.
Thanks to everyone on the Lovetrix team, and all those wonderful people who came to my workshop and had a go, it was great!

I really enjoyed the demo, having a bit of a thing for cutting. I have to say i was most impressed with the tongue cutting.... wow. Thank you. ~* Raku wa ku no tané; ku wa raku no tané. *~ |
