Master and i enjoyed a gorgeous Indian meal last night...it was at a place where we have never been before and we found it simply by looking on the internet for good reviews on restaurants.
The place was called Jali and it is part of the Carlton Hotel right on the front at Blackpool. Master chose us a table which overlooked the sea tho it did make me shiver a few times cos it looked so grey and cold.
The food was out of this world...by far the best Indian meal we have ever eaten. We both had popadoms covered in chopped up tomato and cucumber with some dips at the side and then i had what looked like a large potato cake which had melted cheese inside and Master had a cold chicken tikka style starters.
For the main meal i had a curry which consisted of mushrooms and tiny corn on the cobs and Master had some other type of lamb curry...the lady in charge explained what each dish consisted of and she was happy to expain the various strengths.
Now, im often disappointed with desserts...they tend to be what i term plastic desserts, cheap and nasty tasting but when the sweet menu arrived i grinned like a cheshire cat and Master smiled at my delight cos there were at least four Indian desserts to choose from.
We ordered two of the desserts...a hot one and a cold one, both were very sweet and very sickly and utterly delicious and we shared them between us.
We finished our meal with a cup of good coffee and we both got a chocolate mint but Master popped mine into his mouth and ate it!!!! I couldnt believe he would do such a nasty thing to his slave ish 
We were both well and truly stuffed by the time we had finished our meal and when we got back to my place it was simply a matter of curling up together on the sofa for a while cos we were both full and nicely sleepy.
That was definatly a place that i would recommend and Master and i will certainly be going back there again some time.
Well, son is going off to Falaraki in Greece tomorrow afternoon with his girlfriend and some mates so i will have a bit of peace for a week. Ive asked Master if i may write him a story while son is away and he has given me permission. Mind you when son comes back he only has one week at home and then he is back to Uni so ive not seen a lot of him this time.
Tomorrow Master and i are hoping to drive over to find a National Trust house some where...dunno where we will actually be going cos i tend to leave that up to my Master to decide...wherever we go it will be lovely to be with Master again.
