It was another exciting night at the Cardiff Munch with lots going on. There were nearly thirty of us with ages ranging from twenties to sixties. We were pleased to welcome seven new visitors, some of whom were at a Scene event for the first time - Well Done! - and some who had traveled long distances to be with us: Malvern looked like taking the prize until Manila won with a late burst. We were also pleased to see an old friend returning after a break. Thanks are due to Trumzi and tiger lilleth for being our Hosts for the evening, and to Mistress Howl for the home baked Ginger Cake to celebrate her first Munch Anniversary - How time flies when you are having fun! Last but not least we must mention the debut of our new Munch Mascot - Jones the Dragon who contrary to all predictions behaved himself impeccably. A very warm welcome to you Jones. If you missed it, don't worry too much: We enjoyed it so much that we are going to do it all again next month on Wednesday 13th August We hope to see you then.

I'm so pleased that I was able to attend this time... after my self-imposed abstinence of many months
