...I'm moving away! (10 points for the reference)
I'm starting all over again...
In South Yorkshire.
Oh yes.
It barely seems 3 years ago since I posted a blog about moving to Newcastle to start a degree, and in just over a week, I'll be donning the silly robes and hat to graduate with a 2:1.
I've met some wonderful people (mostly scene-orientated) up there, and I'll miss the vast majority of them. Which is odd in itself, being a misanthropist.
Where I can begin again...
In even bigger news, however, this week will see me move South to Sheffield, where I start the process all over again to do an MA. Then I can say "...when I did my degrees..." and sound like one of those pretentious wankers I hate so much.
Where nobody's heard of my name...
Though my move means there are more people to meet, unless I want to be a billy-no-mates for my whole year.
Live just like living should be...
It also means I get to flee the perils of co-habiting once more (mess everywhere, flat that constantly smells like green, annoying noise at all hours, unpaid bills, inconsiderate twats), and do what the hell I like (leave mess, smoke tabs, make noise at 3am etc.)
At the weekend, a gentleman friend, might take me dancing to the local bands...
It also lessens the gap between the SuperUberDomlyLordMaster Manthing and I from 100 miles to 1 mile. If you can't tell, I'm almost shitting myself with excitement.

Woot woot! Congrats on the 2:1 and burn the robe before you have to give it back (I got so pissed at the reception of my graduation that I fell down a hill and was consumed by mud). MAs are so much more fun than stupid undergrad degrees. Being around people who are actually excited by what they're learning and studying is for me still a novelty and a constant fucking delight, though I'm sadly destined to be the wankiest of all wankers. Ah well.
