Well I woke up with a smile on my face this morning. I found out my daughters exam results last night, she got a 2.2 with honours. I'm proper proud of her innit! ![]()
I'm off to Sparkle down at the Village today and that looks like it will be great fun! They've got a clothes and wig sale going on in one of the bars during the day, so I may pick up a wig to wear to her graduation ceremony in a few weeks time... I had promised her two hours of normality for that day, and arwen_NS was forbidden to dress up as a chav for it, so I don't suppose it was such a good idea for me to have the new Mohican hair cut last week really, was it! ( Lionel Blair special it was too!) hehe
Have a great weekend e1!

( off to spike me hair now, innit!)

Good news! Hope that you all enjoy the graduation. Louise.x Going to school does not make a person educated, any more than going to a garage makes a person a car

Thanks! I'm sure it will be a great day Erm, thanks for the offer of the wig, Fussy, but I think I'll give the porn star look a miss this time hehe xx
Edited to add: And when was I ever a respectable member of any community anyway? "You can ask others how to climb mountains, but you still have to do it to really know what it is like and what is up there." Edited 28 Jun 08, 12:51 PM by Shamanka

Oi, you weren't supposed to let on about that, naughty! Tis true I'm gutted about only ever making it to fluffer status. I could have been the next Linda Lovelace, if only I'd had the breaks that she had, innit!' Thanks Pam. As you know, M has worked harder than most for her degree, with all that life has thrown at her while she was doing it, she's been swimming up-stream for the last 6 years. I am totally proud of her! Bev x "You can ask others how to climb mountains, but you still have to do it to really know what it is like and what is up there." |
