I have a crisis of confidence about once a day . However good I feel about one thing something else seems to mess up. Last evening MoK came round. I was on a medium high, In my new role at work I had been able to make useful suggestions about how to increase people's commitment and productivity, and any evening spent with MoK is pretty damn good.
Today I am celebrating The Queen's Birthday, I put up the tiles that MoK had cut for me, and did some painting - only 1 wall of the bathroom left to do now and it should all be done by the end of the weekend. Then I went outside. The lawn( for lawn read meadow) has knee high grass because the mower is b0rked, my son tried to mend it but the handle will not respond. I sent an e mail to MoK and asked him about getting a new one, then I went out to hang out the washing I had just filled up the line when that b0rked too and spread all my laundry amongst the knee high grass - what fun.
When I had cleared that up I came in to find that I had an e mail suggesting a web site selling parts for mowers. All I needed was the make and model number of the mower. a few bits of Googling . I did not in the end even need to enter the part numbers. I just had to click on the number next to the picture of the part ( as MoK said totally Mollie proof), and for the small sum of £7 my lawnmower lever is winging its way to me from Nottingham.
I don't think I need to say here how much greater my despair would be if it wasn't for MoK's continued support advice and belief.
And the paint - well getting it out of my hair and off my person will be a long and hard job. I am going to a handfasting tomorrow - I may be the only person there with hair that has blue spots on it

I'll have smatterings of grey in mine if that makes you feel any better matey. Unfortunately mine are tre naturel
