I wonder.
If I was to kneel at your feet, take your hand in mine and say, slowly and calmly, that I'd do anything to see you smile.
I wonder.
Would you laugh and tell me to get up and stop being so silly?
Or.
Would you smirk and tell me to make you a cup of coffee or to go clean the bath?
Or, I wonder.
Would you look in my eyes and see the truth?
Could my craving cause you to crave?
I wonder.
Would you smile?

Beautiful writing!
And yes I would smile! Apparently I always do. To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour. (William Blake 'Auguries of Innocence')

Thank you so much for the kind comment.
That smile is spreading. "Treat a man as he is and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he can and should be, and he will become as he can and should be." ::Johann Wolfgang von Goethe::

I am smiling as I write this; Why does such an honestly, simply written exemplar of essential submission bring out the feline in me?
Offer fluttering prey to a cat - she *may* decide to kill it, or play with it for a little... But I am a total N00B feel free to L your As O and flame me

And it would be worth it, just to hear her purr. "Treat a man as he is and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he can and should be, and he will become as he can and should be." ::Johann Wolfgang von Goethe::
