Why is it equally important for atheists to preach dis-belief as it is for believers to preach belief?

I'm not sure they're as much atheists as god haters. 'course that would imply that there's something to hate, wouldn't it?. After all, what better way to hate god than to spead dis-belief?.

Because the atheist view are as valid as any other. I don't hate God, as you say that would imply belief in God. If I actually thought it was true, I would be a believer, not an atheist. I do not hate religious people either, but I do hate intolerance. Live and let live, don't hide your beliefs, but don't try to force them onto others either. Gary x. I don't hate 'God'. I don't hate religious people. I am an atheist, I feel very strongly about it. I also feel very strongly about people assuming all us atheists are god hating hypocrites who go round preaching our beliefs. I can't believe I've no control It's all deranged - Bowie
