i've got my first flowers pretty lilac ones with a purple middle, makes a nice change from dandelions and buttercups, and all my seeds are coming up, and my banana tree is growing, so hopefully soon i should have a really pretty garden for the first time ever ...... i actually had another strange idea, that i might try growing my own veggies too, need to work out ways of saving money when darling son goes off to uni in september........ might need to get another new freezer though if it works ...... all i gotta do now is get rid of the rest of the weeds ..... i bloody hate digging

When you've finished yours could you pleeeeeeease come and do mine so it looks all pretty. I sacked my gardener (the lazy bum, doing an hours work when i pay him for two) and had to do my garden myself for the first time ever. Its looking tidy but not very pretty, and i lawn mowered a frog
If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless. ;-p

nice to see you have found the joys of growing something,
and veggies taste so different grown in the garden.
rhubarb is another good one to grow all you have to do is chuck shit an stuff on it...

i've still got about another 6 months of digging to do lol, so get another gardener ...... i now feel incredibly sorry for the frog
rhubarb is disgusting stuff, we had loads of it in our garden when i was a kid, and i still hate it lol
anyway, today i have planted tomatoes, carrots, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, spring onions, and sweetcorn,(and i've got a couple of pineapples in the fridge, and some melons, and kiwi fruit and nectarines..... so i may have a go at planting them and see if that works.... it's all very exciting hope they grow lol ..... i even added my own home made compost to the soil, thats been rotting for the last 12 months, saved me a fortune on bags of compost, cos my soil is pretty crap.
i was going to make a patio at the bottom of the garden, but i think i might turn it all over to veggies for a couple of years at least

if you have a problem with something i've said or done ........ feel free to tell DM, .......so he can rip the piss out of you too
