The price is high for many reasons, all of which have been mentioned on IC repeatedly. The last word on it all I guess is that we charge what we feel we are worth. If you want someone worth less, go find them, by all means. But we don't have to justify ourselves in terms of the charges we make. Any more than the photographers, BDSM furniture makers, BDSM jewelery makers, handcuff, knife, suspension equipment, e-stim systems and other manufacturers of things that you enjoy have to justify themselves. I do agree with what you've said Red....but sorry, not this bit! I think it's dangerous to say that if a pro Domme charges a higher fee they're worth more. We all have our reasons for charging what we do. I charge what I do because of my running costs not because of what I'm "worth" - I'm aware that I'm under the London average. We could go around in circles about this. But I suppose the end line should always be, if you're not happy with the fee, don't pay.
