Sat by myself tonight in my local inn with my Flat cap, whippet, pickled egg and my bottle of Dog (well I am from the north east and only do whiskey when boro win!)
I hear what is probably the most riddiculus statement ever apparently romeo was a real man who lived 50 years after the great bard of avon died and looked like john merrick ( this is direct quote from the queen of the local gin palace!)
So one ducks behind his bottle of brown and proceeds to the quiz machine trying not to laugh, the said lady then proceeds to tell all and sundry how Mark Knofler (dire straits) actually wrote the play, retrospectivly and that poor Bill S. did not exist!
I had to leave the place via the back door nearly in tears and about to collapse in laughter!
