Went for an interview yesterday, a job I really want, the type of thing I'm best at. Wasn't sure how well it went, they played their cards really close to their chest.
Prior to going for the interview my agent told me that they had interviewed quite a few already and that none had that something they were looking for. Seems they are a hard bunch to please. Great thought I, just what I need right now ~groan~
Anyway, driving up the motorway on my way home and my agent rings. "How did it go?" asks he. "I'm not sure I am what they are looking for" says I. "You're joking" says he, "I've just come off the phone with them".
Turns out I really impressed them, I'm exactly what they are looking for, they liked my enthusiasm and my drive. My recent experience didn't faze them at all and they appreciated my total honesty in what had happened.
So, next week I have to meet the Director who likes to meet all senior staff and give them his approval before being offered the position. So fingers crossed for that!!
I was hoping to move to Blackpool on or before 1st June, but the removal company can't move me till 4th June. Whats a few days? Well a lot really cause my rent here is due 1st June, so if i don't move i have to pay another month which i really can't afford to do. I think i'm just going to have to hope my landlord doesn't notice. I can't change removal companies cause these guys are the cheapest, and I know they are good because they moved me up here.
Anyway, in the greater scheme of things, its all looking good, things seem to be slotting into place.
Thanks to those who gave support, I truly appreciate it. When things are looking bad and you don't know where to turn, its then you learn who your true friends are.

Hi J Jolly good news keep my fingers crossed for you meeting the big man or woman could be either . Ask the removal co if they can move some early into store like the big stuff, so the landlord can see your going .If notget the removal people to hire a 7.5 ton box and load it keep it stored for 3 days at the hire depot about £60 a day hire no miles.
