So many have written about their wonderful weekend.... so I thought I would, too.
Thursday.... the long, hot, sunny drive to my destination. Warmly greeted, dinner prepared - served with wine, soft music floating around the room and candlelight for atmosphere.
Friday.... Another hot, sunny day dawns.
A slow-paced day beckons.... the picnic is planned, the venue - a beautiful park, the grass - freshly mown and soft, the food & drink - gorgeous (not sandwiches, crisps and a bottle of coke), the reading matter - entertaining, the play - discreet , the weather - perfect (until it decided to chuck it down - the blanket we had been laying on became an umbrella ), the walk back to the car (in the rain, under the blanket) - hilarious, the company/conversation - perfect.
Followed by an intimate evening - our business.
Saturday.... Hot and sunny (Tedious? Not on your nellie!!)
More relaxation time, being pampered - with a little bit of kink thrown in throughout the whole day. The evening was spent in another beautiful place in the great outdoors. I'd planned a barbecue - so, armed with one of those disposable ones, we found our place in the sun, lit the touch-paper (Lol... "One match is all you need" - my arse!!!) and waited.
After some time, once some of the coals were glowing, the food was placed on to sizzle, drip and cook to perfection (he was in charge of the food) - I've never had such tasty sausage in the open (the rest of the meat was succulent, too. ) - drink, chat, more laughter, fresh air and a real sense of enjoyment. The sun was going down as we packed up and left - having spent 3 brilliant hours by the running water, beside trees, surrounded by greenery, birds, sunshine and laughter. Home... back to warmth and private intimacy.
Sunday.... More heat and the sun, too!! Ate a cooked breakfast, drank tea/coffee, chatted, listened to music... packed bags... going home.
It felt like a holiday - a mini-break... feeling tired and relaxed, with even more fun memories.
Thank you.... X X Edited Mon 12 May 08, 7:40 AM by chartreuse
