Due to recent events within the Glasgow scene, the LGRA has been cancelled indefinitely. The LGRA has run successfully for over a year now and is not prepared to be the object of anyone's intentions to turn the Glasgow scene into a farce. Therefore, LGRA shall no longer be making 'formal' monthly posts advertising events. LGRA would like to thank all those who have attended and contributed to the fun afternoons. LGRA shall remain in touch with those who have attended and shall continue to actively encourage new folk to take their tentative steps into 'the scene'. LGRA shall no doubt continue to operate on an ad-hoc basis. The intention of LGRA was and shall remain an opportunity to provide a place for like-minded individuals to get together in a safe environment for an afternoon of lighthearted chat.

sorry you feel that its come to this point and that a few people with scores to settle can ruin things for everyone else.

How sad. I hope to stay in touch with the lovely people I've met. Good luck with everything and thanks for the work you've put into the LGRA till now. x Whatever you dream you can do begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now. Goethe

I'm sorry you feel the need to do this. The LGRA has been one of the events that I have really enjoyed attending in Scotland. It was friendly and welcoming, mainly due to the host and hostess. I don't really know what has contributed to this, but I'm sorry it has happened. http://desocialized.com/

With all best wishes I am saddened that the host and hostess feel pressurised into doing this, but as part of the scene I understand. I hope that the few causing the issues would stop causing problem with the events that many go to and then life in our world can go back to normal x Mistress Lorraine

Very sorry to hear that you have found this necessary.
Unfortunately I have never managed to get along but have always heard nothing but good things about the LGRA FIFE & TAYSIDE MUNCH

Do we need to 'cancel'. LGRA is about fun, not politics. From the previous posts it's quite evident just how highly regarded the Munch was/is? Please reconsider? Andy xx |
