Can one get everything SO wrong. I must be a really nasty person, to have endured what I have. Only wish I knew. Knew what? I dont know anymore.
I would be shamed if I said I couldnt look after my children, people would say 'oh my god how on earth can a mother do that'. So why is it ok for a father to wash his hands of his child or children. You know it hurts real bad inside. How can one get everything SO wrong.

It's not ok. My ex did it too, he turned his back on his kids for 4 years, he's now back in contact with them and truth be known I don't think he could cope with fatherhood and having to return them on a Sunday evening, so he took them home one weekend and never went back. I know he thought about them, and it was only after he had counselling for his anger problems etc. that he actually got in contact with them again.
I know it's easy to say, but it's not a reflection on you or your children - it's about him, and one day he'll get his head sorted, I just hope it's not too late.
Sending hugs xx

Don't judge me until you've walked a mile in my shoes, and I shan't judge you!

Sorry hun, but a real man and a real father would put whatever's happened between you and him to the back of their mind and focus on their child. His lack of ability to do that is NOT your fault!!

Give yourself some time and tlc, the heart will catch up with the head - emotions are not easy things to have or deal with.

In an ideal world, parents should love a child more than they hate each-other.
Unfortunately, Jeremy Kyle teaches us that this is not always so. ------------------------------------------
