Am concerned for those around me, guess its the ripple effect, but as l tend to be a "nobody" in the scheme of things and don't really have much on my pc although what little l do have l could be prosecuted for, hell like anything l will deal with it if and when it arises.

You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly....

Personally I'm not scared, but to be honest I think it's going to take a few of our more daring community to go against the grain, get caught, cause an outcry, for the rest of the community to stand up and fight the good fight.

And when that happens, it will be one HELL of a fight, we are like a big family and always look after our own.

Arthur Scargill eat your heart out ! :-D

It's not all about money, and I'm sure there are some of us that are in the legal profession that would help take a stand, it can be done without being outed.

By mentioning Arthur Scargill I was referring to the support he got from the miners, not particularly about him or his beliefs.

I am not scared, perhaps slightly bored by it all.

The law is unforcable in my opinion and some might say that alot of scare mongering has been going on.

I suppose it is watch and see but I do not think that it will change anything that I do already.

I am, however, worried about all this porn on computers !

I'm I the only one who does not have porn on their puter :)

Picture, picture ?......I dont need no stinking picture !

What worries me is not really the risk of prosecution (since I don't tend to be interested in the sort of hard core stuff they at least claim this bonkers bit of arse-hattery is aimed at).

What worries me is that of all the mislabelled content you download from p2p systems, you could easily wind up with (reshared) violating content on your machine for a period of time, before even opening it to know its against the law. Guvner I was looking for MSoffice2007.iso, I didn't know it contained *that* movie.

What can you do, the rozzer's havn't the time or resources to go after us lot as a policy or targeted initative, its if you get caught shop lifting and they have a warrant to search your house and decide "whilst the're there" to check on your computer kind of scenarios, if anyone get's done it will be by shear bad luck, wrong place at the wrong time or looking at stuff at work.

The Bill when it is in force bans extreme images. It does not ban events, surely?

I don't think it would ban putting on stage a live act of someone cutting someone or pretending to, would it? You might want to ban photos of such actions of course because they are images.

And we all know the law already prohibits consensual violence where it is too hard so there's no change there.

Scared? No.

Depressed...heck yes....

I can travel around the EU and feel free in my person. It is getting to the point that it is not the dirt and the tattiness of Heathrow which gets me down...it is just being here, in this repressed and grim place.

Anyone else scared?

The fact that you and others have been made to feel scared makes me fucking angry!

A dirty mind is a joy for life. :-p
