On the one hand, things are looking up. The course at work is improving - we had our first test today, not one of the pass-or-you're-off ones, just a learning check. Probably a good thing because only three out of the sixteen of us would have been left on the course! Another half a dozen or so would have been resitting it the next day, and the rest would be booted back to their previous roles without much further ado...

I went to LAM yesterday and had a pretty good time, which was spent with RavenMuse and Ravens_metalmiss, helping showcase Raven's lead-juggling talents. I saw a few people who I recognised from other events, and was also introduced to a score more who I'll probably have managed to forget by the next time I come across them! For those not yet aware, Raven is taking me on to try to actually teach me to behave... the poor dear really doesn't know what He's being let in for.

And the Master situation... is still hanging. We've spent quite a bit of time together over the end of last week and the beginning of this, but almost entirely vanilla-y, with the sole exception being CCK on Friday night. Unfortunately we had to leave early because He had to get home to look after His younger brother, but on the upside we did have chocolate walnut brownies before we had to go! He's content with the vanilla contact and thinks things are going well... I think things are going alright but, quite frankly, don't really just want a vanilla friend.

This week is another pretty busy week, which is probably for the best. I have less time to dwell on things and less time to get bored in, and boredom is one of the things that does tend to cause me to eat, so that's good.

In short, things are going well, but I think they may be going well because I'm in denial about the fact that Master will probably not come back.
