If everyone here calls the advertisers on the NOTW website and explains VERY forcefully why you WON'T be using their services, then it might, just might, persuade them to reconsider where they spend their money.

There is nothing that marketing people hate more than the idea that their advertising budget is being spent reaching people who aren't interested, let alone people who react negatively to seeing that advertising message.
And their is nothing that managing diectors hate more than being told why people WON'T be using their company, if that reason is because of exactly where their marketing director is placing advertisements.
If everyone here can make just one phone call on Monday morning then I suggest that it's to expedia. The worst that can happen is that they ignore us but the potential outcome is that they pull their advertising from NOTW

The picture was actually lifted directly from Saffy's website.
It'd be advisable, if we really want to help, to take care not to discuss this as the NOTW actively encourages people to sell information to them.
Imagine if one of us is talking about this in the pub, some 'nilla picks up on what we're talking about and sells on the dirt. It'll just make things worse.
And...
Please be aware that every time we click the links to the story online we're actually increasing the profile of the exposé on the web.

So Sorry to read this horrid sleazy article Mistress S. I hope you are getting good legal advice about this and of course we'd all support you in any legal action.
this new law is only going to make stuff like this worse as the government further demonises kinky people.
I am so surprised they can still get away with this stuff. perhaps we can do an expose on the blood journalist. i just dont know how they get away with destroying people's lives like this - while there's real news going on. and i cant believe anyone still buys this paper for idiots. one thing is I hope nobody here still reads it.
the quotes can't be real people from this community 'pals' do not even talk like that - surely his sources can be demanded and exposed as lies.

10 mths I'm going to play devils advocate here.
I have known Saffy since just before she became a pro-dom, which is probably about five or six years. I see her as a friend without question.
The problem is though, this story IS newsworthy because most people are completely uninformed and think that because she is a pro-dom that it will somehow have a negative effect on how she teaches her children. Or maybe that she is some kind of pervert who may endanger them. They don't know how kind she is, they don't know that she would buy you a pint if you'd had a shit day and needed a friend, they don't know that she's the type of person to constantly text me (whose totally disenchanted with the scene) to tell me about events to help me get out and enjoy myself. The don't know anything and think they can sum this person up with a load of sweeping, uninformed bullshit comments in a newspaper.
It is news worthy because like it or loathe it, people are fcuking ignorant.
